NOTICE!!

 

Apprentice applications will be accepted from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, June 22, July 6, and July 20, 2010.

 

QUALIFICATIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

 

  1. Shall be at least eighteen (18) years of age. A copy of his/her birth certificate must accompany the completed application form.
  2. Shall reside within the area of Jurisdiction of the Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee.
  3. Must be of good moral character.
  4. Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job in a safe and efficient manner.
  5. High School graduate or GED equivalent. Each applicant must furnish a copy of his/her educational records at the time application is made.
  6. Must be a citizen of the United States or a lawfully immigrated alien.
  7. Driver license and Social Security card will be photocopied at the time of application.
  8. Must file a written “APPLICATION FOR APPRENTICESHIP” at the above address.
  9. Must appear for an interview when notified.
  10. Will be required to undergo mathematics, reading and observation tests.
  11. All successful applicants must undergo a drug test. Applicants who test positive and cannot satisfactorily explain or rebut the positive results will not be admitted to the program.
  12. $25.00 Application Fee required.
